Mission of the Foundation

Horse Camp at Mt. Shasta
Shasta Alpine Lodge is a climbers' hut at Horse Camp located within the Mount Shasta Wilderness of the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. It is a popular base camp for climbers and hikers on Mount Shasta. The foundation owns the property and operates the lodge. The lodge is a seasonal source of fresh water and also serves as an emergency shelter.
