  1. Combine the baking soda and vinegar in a bowl.
  2. Allow them to bubble.
  3. Add the dish soap and mix.
  4. Add the mixture to a spray bottle.
  5. Fill with water.
  6. Spray down ants, ant trails, cracks, and any areas they've touched.
  7. Wipe away after a few minutes.
  8. Repeat as needed every time you see new ants.
  9. Store under the sink.

  • 1 shallow bowl
  • ¼ cup of baking soda
  • ¼ cup of powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Place baking soda and powdered sugar in bowl.
  2. Mix the two dry ingredients together.
  3. Set the bowl in a known ant trail.
  4. Wait for them to take it back to the colony.

Simple Homemade Ant Repellant Methods

Once you've got the ants out, you don't want them to come back. That means you'll want to take a few preventative measures by adding some known ant repellants.

  • Sprinkle pepper in known ant areas and behind appliances.
  • Wipe down counters and other areas with lemons.
