Basic Four Horsemen
The basic recipe for the Four Horsemen features only the four liquors named for men. Serve the drink straight up, without ice.

- ¼ ounce Jack Daniels whiskey
- ¼ ounce Johnnie Walker Scotch
- ¼ ounce Jose Cuervo gold tequila
Instructions
Pour all liquors into a rocks glass and serve it straight up.

Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse
This drink uses the same combination of liquors, but also adds Jägermeister herbal liqueur, pineapple juice, and sweet and sour. Serve it shaken on ice and strained into a highball glass.

- ½ ounce Jägermeister

- 1 ounce simple syrup
- Ice
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the bourbon, whiskey, scotch, tequila, Jägermeister, pineapple juice, lime juice, and syrup.
- Add the ice and shake.
- Strain into a highball glass filled with ice.
Four Horsemen in a Boat
This drink adds Grand Marnier to the original recipe.

- ¼ ounce Jim Beam bourbon

- ¼ ounce Johnnie Walker scotch

- ¼ ounce Grand Marnier (Often used in red cocktails)
