Everyone knows 'em, and you either love them or hate them: bomb drinks. Sometimes known by their aliases bomb shot or depth charge, these are some of the easiest drinks to make but can be one of the hardest to take -- depending on if the clock is running and if the ingredients truly are palatable. Buckle up and select your favorite of these hard-hitting bomb drinks.

Jägerbomb

It's the bomb drink that needs no introduction: the Jägerbomb. But if you've yet to meet this foe on a bar battlefield, it does not need chugging like the Irish slammer, but it'll jump-start your heart with a bit of energy drink. Life pro tip: if you want the buzz-buzz without the chug, fill a highball glass with ice, add your Jägermeister, then top off with your preferred energy drink.

Boozy Bomb Shot with jägermeister

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a shot glass, add Jägermeister.
  2. In a pint glass, add four ounces of energy drink.
  3. Drop shot glass into pint glass.
  4. Bombs away!

Irish Slammer

Do not enter into an Irish slammer accord lightly, and certainly don't end your night with one of these. From the moment the shot of whiskey and Irish cream meets the beer, you gotta start chugging until it's gone.

You can drop the shot glass into the beer as the recipe says and then chug it or pour the shot into the beer without dropping the entire glass into a beer.
